Hi, I have a Sigma AF Macro 50mm f/2.8 lens with EF mount for Canon. Its an old lens as said by SIGMA when contact for not working fully with my Canon EOS 1000D (Rebel XS) DSLR.

Its auto-focus and manual both work fine but aperture doesn’t change. If I change the aperture I get Error-01 that incompatible lens is attached or clean the contact. All other lenses are working fine.

I opened the screws and rotated the aperture lever but whatever value i keep the camera gives the same Error-01. I changed back to widest using the lever and with f/2.8 on camera it worked. I want to use other apertures as well but SIGMA says no PCB is available for this lens.

Can U tell me of any hack or way I can do this? Please help me.
